Schubert Masterpieces and World Premiere

Enjoy chamber music inside the 100-inch Telescope dome where astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered our place in an expanding Universe, with acoustics rivaling the great cathedrals of Europe.

For the re-opening of the concert series, we are presenting two masterpieces by one of the most loved composers, Franz Schubert, and the World Premiere of a piece written for Cécilia Tsan by French composer Eric Tanguy on a poem written by French Academician François Cheng, also a friend of her parents.

Performances of the same program are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Cellist Cécilia Tsan is the Artistic Director.

The performance will be followed by a reception with the musicians at 4:00 p.m.

  • Ambroise Aubrun and Henry Gronnier, violins
